To become a member of our team, you must have the following:

1. Reliable Transportation

2. Be willing to volunteer 10 hours a month to the program

3. No criminal record within the last year. (Felony convictions or crimes involving trust are disqualifying)

4. Ability to purchase about $80.00 for basic uniform equipment  (Yours to keep if you leave the post)

5. Ability to fund raise $150.00 for Complete uniform within six months of joining the post.

6. Abilty to work with others and take orders in this para-military organization.

7. Ability to attend and complete the basic Explorer Academy within the first year of participation. (two dates available during the year)

8. Attend two meetings a month (first and third Monday) on a regular basis

9. Attend Explorer events throughout the year, Including (but not limited to) FW 4th of July festival and FW Festival Days (Aug).
